Features
Low-thickness (0.05 mm) transfer tape featuring a permanent acrylic-based adhesive reinforced with fibers and glass powder. This double-sided tape is similar to the T923, but with a high-performance modified acrylic adhesive. It is supplied with a brown siliconized paper release liner and offers excellent resistance to aging, UV exposure, and plasticized surfaces. It is manufactured in jumbo, log and roll formats on a standard 3" cardboard core, and in Reverse Wound version with 1" plastic core (standard or P Core).
Application fields
T927 is recommended for applications where a low thickness and stronger adhesion is required such as on paper, cardboard, metals, wood, laminates, etc.
T927R REVERSE WOUND STANDARD & P CORE
In addition to the standard 3" version, the T927 tape is also manufactured in Reverse Wound format on a 1" dual-chamber plastic core. It is produced in the standard core version in widths from 6 to 19 mm, and in the perforated (P Core) version in 6 mm and 9 mm widths, suitable for use with SL ATG and ATG Top Gun dispensers. This Reverse Wound tape is supplied in 33 m rolls (T927R/T927PR) and 55 m rolls (T927RL/T927PRL).
Transfer tapes reverse wound are special products specifically designed for use with a 1" double-chamber plastic core. These double-sided adhesive rolls are intended for use with ATG and the SL's ATG Top Gun dispensers, which ensure precise and fast application while simultaneously recovering the silicone release liner. This system provides significant time and material savings and allows for a clean and professional application.
In addition to the standard double-chamber core, SL offers an innovative alternative perforated-core system for 6 mm and 9 mm transfer tapes. These can be applied with the ATG system by means of grey plastic adapters supplied with the SL's ATG Top Gun (the only ATG dispenser on the market compatible with the 9 mm P Core format). The 6 mm and 9 mm perforated-core tapes are positioned on the adapter, which is inserted directly into the ATG Top Gun applicator gear with simple pressure and without the use of tools. The perforated core (P Core) is available for all reverse wound transfer tape produced by SL.
